The Rugby Championship’s first sold-out Test follows a trend of high attendance at international rugby events: over 2.4 million people attended the 2023 Rugby World Cup, and last year’s Wallabies game against the All Blacks at the Melbourne Cricket Ground drew the largest Australian rugby crowd in 22 years (84,000).
